Accelerators & Universities: Providing ongoing support to Start-ups

OFFERING support to grow a startup

We work with a lot of startups that were formed at either a university or an accelerator programme. At some point, this support finishes, either owing to graduation or completing the accelerator programme. This is where JNDC comes in, offering a broad range of specialist skills and advice. Just take a look at our “Startup” page to see how we help from the first step.

How we work

We start by undertaking a “project & design review” which analyses in detail and identifies the best way forward. Our risk-based approach to this analysis determines everything from a skills gap in the team to refining the product development roadmap.

With the review undertaken we then wear two hats. The first offering guidance and mentoring for the overall project and the second one undertaking anything specific that the existing team cannot do in-house.

The technical skills within the team are often capable of delivering the complete project. However, life as a start up means there are a million and one things to do, so JNDC can help by taking chunks of work off your plate, from a technical rig build and validation testing, through to managing a complete milestone of the project.

How we can help

From mentoring, rig and prototype builds, grant applications through to managing the complete design for manufacture process, we are here to help.
