Engineering Design Office

Our engineering design office has been equipped for our team to have all the resources at their fingertips. From state-of-the-art software to design and stress-test products, through to our supplier database and material sample library.

We have our own digital tools, which we share with our customers, that assist in identifying the “unknown unknowns” early. This maximises the likelihood of developing a product that not only works, but is truly aligned to the end users’ needs.

Risk Review (FMEA)

Using bespoke, in-house tools to identify and assess key risks and mitigation methods.

Customer Analysis

Identifying who the end user(s) are and what they want and need from a product. And maybe what they don’t know they need or want.

Design for Compliance

Pinpointing the requirements from legislation and standards and aligning the design to ensure product compliance.

Computer Aided Design

Transforming an idea sketched out on a white board into a 3D model; that can be 3D printed, sent to manufacturers for initial quotes etc.

Tooling Development Management

Working with manufacturers to assess tooling design-intent to ensure the product is made to specification.

Production Line Setup

Designing and engineering production lines enabling the product to be assembled correctly and efficiently, each and every time.

Design for Manufacture

Using our specialist knowledge of how parts are made to create a manufacturing pack ready for your product to go into production.

IP Development/Planning

Strategically planning how your product can be protected and collaborating to develop a robust protection methodology.

Supplier Management

Building relationships with the supply chain to ensure technical information and communication is carefully managed.

Sourcing

Finding not just the right part or supplier but presenting a range of options to consider and review.
