Fit to Breathe
Purposeful design. Proven protection. Patent secured.
Hy-Pro, a familiar name in UK sports gear, had been selling mouthguards for years. But the market was crowded, price-driven, and stagnant—dominated by a few major players. Hy-Pro wanted something better: a product they could call their own.
They came to us with a clear goal—create a mouthguard that solved a real problem, not just added to the shelf.
We started by listening. Across a wide range of users—from young players to serious athletes—one issue kept coming up: breathability. Most mouthguards make it harder to breathe under pressure, and that affects performance. That insight became our brief.
Our focus: improve airflow without compromising protection. That meant sketches, CAD models, 3D prints, and rounds of real-world testing.
As the design evolved, we kept checking in with users to make sure we were on track. Their feedback helped shape every stage of the development.
When we reached a version that truly worked, it felt distinctive enough to warrant patent protection. We introduced Hy-Pro to a trusted IP attorney, and the patent was granted.
But a smart design wasn’t enough—it had to meet the sport industry’s toughest safety standards. We worked with SATRA, the UK’s recognised mouthguard test house, to ensure it passed. The challenge: boost airflow without losing impact protection. We got there.
The result is Enmo, now available at Argos, Sports Direct, and Amazon.
Early reviews say it all:
“Great fit, easy to breathe.”
“The most comfortable mouthguard I’ve used.”
“Finally—one that doesn’t feel like you’re gasping for air.”
In a category where most products look and feel the same, Enmo stands apart—patented, proven, and purpose-built. For Hy-Pro, it wasn’t just another launch. It was a step forward.
