Evidence, Not Assumptions
Independent Product Validation
In early Autumn, JNDC spent three days at Dunsfold Aerodrome – the former Top Gear test track – helping a major automotive supplier gain independent, real-world verification of their product across a wide range of vehicle scenarios. The setup was complex: multiple stakeholders, strict safety governance and live vehicles sharing a busy circuit, all requiring precise planning and traceable evidence.
More than a month of preparation went into those three days. JNDC:
- designed the test campaign
- led risk assessments and run-cards
- integrated sensors, validated data capture
- Managed communications, managing track safety
On site, a team of around 15 specialist test engineers, safety stewards, drivers, test-house witnesses and media partners followed a tightly sequenced programme. The team adapted the plan in real time as findings emerged, while maintaining clear go/no-go safety gates.
By the end of the testing, the client had a comprehensive evidence package: high-fidelity telemetry, audit-ready logs, and ground and aerial footage. Together, these validated product behaviour under representative conditions, informed their next development phase and created a reusable, safety-led test template for future programmes – all delivered with zero incidents and minimal downtime.
As the client put it, “Huge thanks to the JNDC team and our specialist partners for a seamless three days on site.”
